Our girls are our pets and they are CHONKY, happy, healthy and tucked in nightly.
They enjoy foraging for bugs, worms, grass and love eating our organic marigold petals grown in our garden that gives them the brightest, most plump, vibrant yolks.
Our eggs come as a mixed dozen- there are some jumbo all the way to medium sized eggs.
Our eggs are unwashed.
Why?
Because mother nature gave chickens "bloom"- a protective coating that dries shortly after the eggs have been laid that seals the shells.
While clean coops make clean eggs, they're still animals ...so wash your hands :)
